Not really. The numbers of cases kind of inversely correlates to the vaccination rate. I say "kind of", as I don't have the experience to work out exactly what the inverse correlation rates are. I do know Samoa had a ~ 30% vaccination rate, and the numbers were closer to 90% in Tonga and Fiji.
In Fiji, the number of cases is reported as 18.
In Tonga, the number of cases is reported as 440.
Im Samoa, the number of cases is reported as nealy 4,700, with 70 deaths.
That appears compelling to me.
