I am unvaxxed, I caught covid a few weeks ago. Apart from a sore back for the first couple of days my symptoms were not much of a problem. The sore back prevented me sleeping. I have spoken to people who were vaxxed and had a lot worse a time infected. I have no sign of long covid symptoms.
As peoples response to infection is so variable I would say any new variant of covid will also be bad for the vaccinated and boosted. People with commorbidities will be the worst off. Unvaccinated people who have been infected already will have aquired some immunity. Personally I am confident that I can survive future variants unless something changes radically. I would review the necessity for vaccination if circumstances change.
I met a guy a month ago who told me his 20 year old son had almost died of the vaccine. That is the first and only adverse event I have heard of. Personally I know of no one who has died of covid or even been hospitalised.
What are you doing to boost your immunity RedCedar, do you have all your eggs in the vaccine basket? Do you have any suggestions to improve prognosis of covid infection bearing in mind the vaccine only reduces the intensity of symptoms and in some cases won't prevent serious illness or death?
