    1sharetrrader1, i’m sure as you were writing. Your barely credible post, you paused to reflect for a moment or two.

    quite possibly on how incredibly lucky you and your family have been for not being sick for nearly 10 years or during a pandemic and how lucky many other unvaccinated townsfolk have been in also not being infected with covid-19.

    long may it continue.

    did you also reflect on how anecdotes aren’t evidence.

    the following from Merriam-Webster:

    “A person falls prey to the anecdotal fallacy when they choose to believe the “evidence” of an anecdote or a few anecdotes over a larger pool of scientifically valid evidence. The anecdotal fallacy occurs because our brains are fundamentally lazy. Given a choice, the brain prefers to do less work rather than more.”

    while you may not have become infected with covid, the same can’t be said about the anecdotal fallacy.
