A NA sequence has been released by the CDC called A/Kansas/05/2010
It was taken from someone on the 17th March 2010.
It shows a P/H1N1 strain that looks like being resistant to all know antivirals.
Of course we have seen resistance before, in Relenza 'In Vitro' ( in a lab dish ) but this is the first time in the pandemic strain.
Thats pretty amazing really when you conside how analysed this H1N1 strain is. It shows how efficient Relenza is.
Dont be to concerned about this as its highly likely this was a isolated spontanous case as no other cases have been discovered to date.
