Norton is meant to be the best, but if you have a laptop you might not have the power to drive it.

I use Kasersky, and they have an option for phone support which is excellent. This was recommended by the techos at my university.

Personally I believe Macs are overrated, expensive and cumbersome. If you are doing graphics however, most of the industry uses macs.

The main threats are malware and spyware from clicking on an infected site or pop up boxes, not so much effort is going into viruses.

But I'm not a tecchie.
