Only makes sense to hold back the SP if either you want to accumulate those oppies cheaply or you have inside information that suggest the SP is worth a lot more than 10c in the very near future. Otherwise without the oppy money, the company would have to do captital raising once exploration money runs out, meaning dilution anyway.
