    "It takes the bulk of both CPA /CA - there's very small ends left for accreditation it's how most Universitys structure them these days in sync. Same as those doing bachelors degrees even majoring in accounting there's a few requirements left for ICAA accreditation."

    To qualify as a CPA or CA, these days you need to do a post graduate degree; this is where some of the Graduate Diplomas come in, but they don't cover all the requirements.

    It will be better to do the CPA Program offered by CPA Australia (for CPA qualification), or the Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting offered by the Chartered Accountants in Australia (for CA membership).

    Of course, you will still need to satisfy their working experience requirements.

    The modern day accountants are no longer just being bean counters. The accounting profession is multi-disipline.
