jct - may not have made my point clearly. Agree that breakaway gaps do occur in a downtrend, but of no consideration in this particular case.
Volume on the large white candle of the engulfing (sic)candle almost same as day before - would have expected greater volume to add credece to the formation.
BTW- do you think that the gap will be filled at 62.5 ??
