Barry >>> Its always nice to be free carried (i guess). Setting stops is your prerogative. Never been in that situation myself. Hope you sun shines your way mate.
Choo >>> I am not a TA expert. I have done some reading, that is the extent of my understanding (i.e. about 20 hours learning - not much to write home about). I will stay with a stock until fundamentals tell me otherwise. If enough people, with enough capital (maybe even only 20M shares), read a chart and decide its bearish, then it is going to go lower in most cases. Majority rules. Personally, i can't do this, probably because i am a clown, but i prefer to ride stocks to the end (wherever that may be)
TA, not traders themselves who wine and dine on stocks, can determine entry and exit points if enough of them have consensus. Like some sort of democratic dictatorship.
I am not dissing people with TA skills. I am sure they live in a nicer house and drive a fancier car, possessions don't worry me though. What i do have an issue with is a skill that is purely based on history without any acknowledgement of a change in the fundamentals of a company. You have a nice mix of TA and fundamentals in your posts, however, i do feel that many people trade this stock and many others based purely on charts which represent the past. Apart from a well coined saying and a song by the propellerheads, history repeating, in almost every stock, this is the case along with the history books being re-written. This means that TA carries a burden, a risk, and worry (which i am happy to defray to others). I will stand by for the re writing of the history books with FML.
Maybe a few glasses of red have given me cause to write this, maybe I just need to feel better about continually holding through 3 red days for every 1 green day since i started out with FML. I am only in a grand total of 4 stocks on the ASX, none of which i have traded, and none of which i have turned a profit on (except on paper).
Am i right or am i wrong. I doubt myself sometimes, generally when in an inebriated state which coincides with the market being closed. Good or bad luck i ask myself?
