There is no right way but picking likely resistance/support levels and paying some attention to near term catalysts generally keeps you on the right side of the trade.

I usually write short dated and out of the money so my returns are small but the fear of OSH being knocked off and being cut off from gain has eased at current prices.

It's been a long road but serious cashflow is around the corner after all these years.
