Myth, agree about the Guinea Fowl. A friend of ours has them on his property at Lawrence (just north of Grafton) and says they are also excellent for keeping the snakes off the property and warning if any are about, great as he has young kids and snakes are prolific in that area. We have a big old Blue Tongue Lizard that has taken up residence in our shed, great to have around, but frightens the life out of you everytime you go to grab the mower out LOL!
