If you research the lifecycle of explorer to miner its often mentioned that many long term holders actually sell out just before the final push up.
Maybe due to the wait until that point and they imagine further delays during development. Perhaps expecting the newly emerging miner will flail about like a spec explorer in trading and hence same price opps will always repeat? Who knows but it is interesting to read the thoughts of those jumping out.
What's known is that the instos do start stepping up and quickly fill the breach as LT retail holders step away.
