The same thing happened to the son of a friend of mine (21 years of age). He was playing touch football and down he went. He had to be flown to Newcastle by air ambulance for treatment as he become half paralised. After good treatment and a lot of therapy, he then recovered remarkably well and he is okay now. Looking at him, you wouldn't know that anything happened to him.

Just look after yourself mate. Life is too precious. And as you said family and yourself always comes first. CDU, good or bad, always second.
