fmg was in that boat once. plenty of success storys were, sfr was another. i have never got my head totally around how cmr went bust, pretty certain they were producing copper when the curtain came down, and i have never seen a good explanation either of what went wrong either.
im thinking it was a combination of metallurgical/plant problems, dodgy lenders and bad management.
