Baron this stock has always been worth a billion+ or 30m.
60m is still a long way from a billion so at this stage it is just noise - positive noise but if it is ever going to really realise the potential then the journey to 40/50c+ Could get a little crazy. What do you do with a stock that has a potential platform application to multiple pharma enabling drug delivery to previously undruggable targets? It's potential goes well beyond biologics, superbugs and cancer applications. The iMYC program alone could be worth a billion (link is just an example of how pre IND deals are very big now for the right things - not a reference to the science).
Maybe they have made some amazing revelation at the JPM conference and we are so used to the content of those slides TB referred to that we don't see it - maybe there is something there we just don't understand but either way there is much more information there than ever before so the company seems to have decided the time is right to share openly the results.
Any way you look at it PYC always had the potential to excite or dissapoint - plenty of years of dissapointment so nice if we are starting on the more exciting part finally. A patient, stable register alongside concentration of holding means that if this is going to recognise it's potential it will be pretty hard to buy stock at any level.
You are right though - this trading is very different to previous announcement & dump affairs so lets hold out some hope that it's real investors showing up looking for a stake in the next big thing - in my travels I found plenty of people who knew the PYC story and knew of it's potential but like many posters here - they got tired of waiting. Maybe they are not waiting any more.
