Unusual announcement today - buyback of 25,500 shares issued under an employee share plan at original issue price!!! How does that work????

So employees could buy the shares under an employee share plan, but if it all turned pear-shaped, the company buys them back at whatever they paid? Black mark - for either inappropriate employee share plan or inadequate disclosure.
