It's clearly a good thing for the ongoing Dubai operations from a legislative standpoint that Sunland are not the target of the investigation, but I can't see that as the sole reason for the spike today.
It was solid finish on good volume, so perhaps it comes down to someone wanting to establish a position and the typical trading volume being so thin that the accumulation therefore pushed up the price?
Personally I'm not a big fan of unexplained spikes even when it does make the portfolio look better.
