Points in your post agree with completely re price and volume
I have not been in the stock for long - someone at a mates party mentioned it to me a month or so ago and said keep an eye as a long term hold.
It may all have something to do with the emissions trading law that fell apart last week and the investment in renewable fuel companies - I have not done much research into this at all so just a guess!!
