    My simple thought:

    If PLV didn't raise the money (via the 8 billion share issue still to be filled yet) they would be shut down by the end of a year (current mine life finishes in 2015 i think i read in the latest announcements), the money keeps the show on the road for a while longer i suppose.

    I wonder if WATPAC's contract also finishes in 2015?
