re: any linux users here?....madmacs I loaded and tried to use an early version (maybe 5 - 6 yrs ago) of Redhat too, but gave up on it after a few days. Learning curve was too steep - GUI was not intuitive enough & apps that were supposed to run in a shell didn't.

When it all comes down to it, no-one likes Windows, but it's just too much work to swim against the current, particularly if you are sharing/swapping/providing/selling data with others.
