Reading some of the posters comments @ our Cousins next door and thought of sharing my fiews on some aspects of our industry and hearing what others have to say.
SYR - has the $$ - will produce soon has customers - has large 50ktpa -Spherical G!!!! Korean & Jap market - has many more offtakes but still not for full capacity
KNL - has 110% of initial capacity spoken for - of which 14ktpa are going to Korean & Jap market, the rest to Europe.
China has their own supply and I doubt it very much they will pay top dollar for the imports they decided to take in
US will most likely secure local supply via Canada
China/ Korea & Japan are the majority producers/ users of battery grade and two of the majors supplying that market now have binding agreements in place to supply that market.
Who will be the customers for all the late comers, especially the ones aiming for production 2018-2020???
