Good on you for your native bent!

I have grown most on your list and got pretty heavily into the rare and endangered species as well having the enthusiasm and space to create. You will find that climate soil and positioning all play a part,but on the whole whack them in and you will learn as you go.

Bushtucker is a great option you may not have considered.
Try getting hold of a ground cover called Midjumberry,tasty little fruit. Lemon myrtle is very versatile for tea or flavouring. Aniseed myrtle leaves crushed are amazing.

There are also a few native gingers that are not too invasive for understorey and quite colourful. I used to cook my fish or chicken on bbq wrapped in ginger leaves with a few lemon myrtle leaves on top of meat.
