Well, after a month of no news, TGA's SP moved from $1.70 (close of 1/12/2016) to $1.92 at close of 30/12/2016. The last Announcement was the wishy-washy one dated 2911/2016, which may have contributed to the low SP of 1/12/2016, so the 22c improvement might be 11c catch-up once investors thought a bit deeper about that Announcement, and 11c attributed to factor X. I do not know what factor X is. It could be a positive analysis from Morgans that is limited to its client, or an institutional buyer has decided to buy more TGA shares.
The SP will probably drop when TGA goes ex-div on 4/01/2017. The dividend to be paid on 20/01/2015 is 5.5c.
