I am rather surprised Mr Langusch would answer little me and my rq, but here goes his answer:

"Thank you for your email.

The latest estimate we have from Nexen is that the rig will be ready to move from its current well location around “the end of the first week of February”.

We understand that there continues to be some weather downtime in the North Sea, but also Nexen are possibly sidetracking or testing their well.



Whilst we have now passed the 14th January target, we are somewhat reluctant to make another market announcement with yet another spud date (after we made two such announcements in December only to see things slip). When we have a firmer idea of the likely spud date I think we shall then inform the market.



It is frustrating to all of us as we are very keen to start drilling.

But at least it is not costing us any money!



Thank you for your kind thoughts. Year 2006 could have been a better one for us, but I am feeling much more confident that our luck is about to change in 2007!
