You can sort of track the case on the Federal Court website (www.federalcourt.gov.au). You can view orders, dates etc. You cannot view the statment of claim etc though.
From my reading, it would not seem that today was only ever going to be a directions hearing.
25 August is listed as being a Notice of Motion. I assume that means that the actual hearing into the matter is still quite a way off.
