No it chose to simply recorded the fact quietly at the back of a quarterly report. Why because Antares don't do negative announcements.
So why make an announcement all on its own over a far smaller piece of land? especially since the ASX charge the company for news releases?
This is the same company who drilled a Permian well, had mechanical issues near total depth with it & had to P&A the well and re-drill it from a new surface location 50M or so away. Has the company actually ever informed the market of this. NO
Cost to shareholders, unknown, but $750,000 might be a reason guess as to the cost.
That's the sort of company we're dealing with here.
If the ASX didn't get guidance from the company's as to what it believes are price sensitive announcements, how many people do you think it would need to employ to cover all sectors of the market? know each & every company inside out, so as to be able to determine what is price sensitive information or not and be able to issue the announcements in a timely manner? Enough said.

A lot more interesting O&G companies on the ASX with bright futures.
