Lets get the Browse LNG online. Let's not do it on the Kimberley coast.
Shell made a statement today that "Shell will be able to quickly duplicate floating units to produce the super-chilled gas after announcing its first for the Prelude gas field offshore Australia. The technology allows the company to tap on stranded offshore gas resources to meet surging LNG demand in Asia which could double by 2020."
I reiterate if WPL can do it in the Timor Sea they can do it for Browse. Have a look at the maps. If anyone on HC can tell me why not I would appreciate it.
Mully, I am simply informing HC members of the foolhardy approach the management of WPL are taking. Miring the company in controversy when the are suitable alternatives is not looking after shareholder interests.
Ask WPL management why they want to press ahead with JPP when there are suitable alternatives. Who is running the company? WPL shareholders or Colin Barnett?
Ultimately it will be WPL shareholders who miss out.
