TGR is listed as a possible takeover in today's Fin Rev (p28) in an article about Aust. companies priced for takeover by private equity. I should bloody well think so! If I were private equity I'd be looking at this undervalued company very hard. (However ther is the 20% holding which could prevent a successful takeover.)
You mention a write down if all the fish were wiped out - sad as this may be, I would suspect that they have their stock insured for such an event, so it would not be an unmitigated disaster for the company (though it would be for the fish).
