Most modern blast furnaces are set up to handle PCI. Pretty much 100% of Japanese blast furnace production uses PCI to lower costs i believe. A reasonable amount of met coal production out of the Bowen Basin is PCI coal and most of that goes to Japan - at least 20mt/annum. Theres some good background reading on PCI here though from 2012:

Worth noting that it takes ~1.5t of coking coal to produce 1t of coke so HG/UHG anthracite is a viable for partial replacement for coke if the metallurgical properties are suitable
