That appointment will not be an accident but IMO part of a new strategy to put some real value back into MAN.
Talk about a stock that has had it all for both potential and drama. There is some real resilience shaping up here and subject to what happens in the Namibian courts, it will either be a clean slate or, some exciting times ahead in Namibia.
Either way, I see it as a real positive for the company that a major shareholder is prepared to give up the seat for a man with excellent financial, administrative and corporate skills and, the integral historical association with Ravensthorpe Nickel.
Damned good I say!
