Minproc travels well. Renewables has landed
one contract (other than the loss making Eastern
Creek): Lancashire. Renewables has tendered for
county contracts in Britain, has lost out on some,
remains shortlisted for others. A couple of years
ago GRD was crowing over how Renewables was a world
leader. My suspicion is that in light of tenders
that they've lost, they have surrendered their
leadership, and are now having to compete against
other firms whose technology is as good if not better
than that of Renewables. Unless Renewables land
further contracts this year, their future might be
bleak. I've lost a packet on GRD over the last 12
months, and management has disappointed me.
I've no idea why Brettney Fogarty left GRD, when
he built it up from nothing. The company seemed to
do better under his stewardship. I wonder whether he
got rolled in a boardroom coup. The matter has never
been explained.
