Hi people wondering if anyone has any suggestions on this?
I have a package of VMG shares which is practically worthless now. I want to sell and take the capital loss before June 30 to offset some gains. I have placed a sell order at 0.001 per share but there are no buyers. The trading platform will not allow me to put a price lower than 0.001 and even tried $0. (haha a bit sad when you can't sell your shares for $0).
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Off market trade maybe?
or just write off anyway and claim as loss considering they are practically worthless?
