Out of interest I just looked at my MacBook Pro I use for work. There is an upgrade sitting in the office for me currently so this one is at the end of life for business use. It's about five years old, has had a lot of use although would be plugged in approx 90% of the time. It's done 420 cycles and a service (replacement) is recommended according to the OS. It's current capacity is 4758mAh vs what I can find was 6700mAh when new which is a drop of approx 30%.
