Hi Tony,
I was looking at some of the past reports about the ore deposit being mined on Koolan island. As I understand it, the main haematite bearing body is in a syncline formation and is therefore near to the surface in two locations: (i) along the southern part of the island (where the main pit is); and (ii) along the central ridge of the island. MGX have therefore been able to open up a number of satellite pits containing DSO. Do you have any comments on whether this is likely or possible for Cockatoo? Do you know if the same syncline continues there?
Cheers! :-)
