A question:
On Cockatoo, one of the blights on the environment would seem to be the highwall cut/ stepout face above the main pit. As nothing grows on a such steep face.
To access the remaining ore in the main pit, a cutback would be required, could this be layed back (angle reduced) to allow regrowth?
Could this cutback be funded by the enviro bond? Thus lowering the actual cost of accessing the main pit ore that was left by Cliffs?
Could this face contain lower grade ore? Of course only drilling will tell.
Any idea on OpEx and CapEx costs on the underground option?
