Not sure about simple, that we are entwined with the immunotherapies division, which I think most would agree has zero value in current sp, than how would this insulate the company from a opportunistic takeover!
A takeover bid, imo, would pay minimal to zero for the IP. They would even be able to palm off to another entity, with perhaps a provision for royalites if it was to succeed.
The 'In the right hands' .... whose? Most likely one of the giants with the clout to ensure 100 per cent success!
That the company hands over ' ... a valuable long term investment .... ' is a matter of opinion, could also be seen as a bottomless money pit too. Anyone who hopes to prosper from the said 'investment' will also be investing untold tens of millions of dollars and then rightly deserves the blue sky rewards.
The aspect of ' .. premature splitting off the business...' comment doesn't seem to make sense! At this time ,imo, the blue sky for the company is the medical division and the CardioCel platform tech .....how can this then be 'severely undervalued' if the company was to spin off the immunotherapies, is it not be logical that the company would be revalued North of current sp and thus 'rightly valued'!
The immunotherapies division is rightly 'severely undervalued', if it had any middling promise then why hasn't a partnership happened?
I do not know how to run a global company nor know anything about accounting, until proven that will also apply the current BOD! Till this very day the sp has not appreciated despite the refocus, code red etc.
Confidence in BOD/Company is great, blind faith is remiss, too many shareholders in too many companies have suffered from relying on 'experts' doing/ not doing their thing .... example, of all people, Slater and Gordon!
