Pointless taking buying the rights when you can buy under 260c. However, this is a rights issue with a guaranteed entitlement and so no possibility of a refund because of scaling back. For this reason, I held back until late in the piece and bought more shares at 258c today than I was ëntitled" to . Tried for 255c a couple of weeks earlier but did not succeed with that. I was willing to take up at 270c but felt it wise to wait until the last day or so in case the POG dropped and pulled down sentiment along with it, which is what has happened of course. For those who took up their rights earlier, I would just say that I believe that you will still do OK after allowing for divis and the likely gains from increases in the POG.
