with this management team, i have no idea, usually MEL gives progress report which is really handy. However, they kind of stopped doing that since KF. There are two possible reasons for that.
1.DJ is leaving so he doesnt care anymore..well he is not a great manager anyway.might be a greal geo
2. MEL is withholding infor for strategic reasons.
I dont think the second one is true as i dont think companies will be interested in MEL until Carbon tax, minging tax and etc can be determined.
So i think takeover is not on the card.
offtake from LNG might be a possibility however, we wont know this until we know more about the JV between LNG and chinsese.
