I met Ian Burston yesterday and came away feeling very confident. Certainly very typical post placement indigestion; though i have to say it was disappointing to see someone so trigger happy after having received their stock in this sort of placement. Is a real shame that the time horizon of some of these sophisticated investors is about a nano-second but i think many will be surprised at the sheer size of this thing and initial metallurgy results will hopefully be positive and will be out any day.
Ian also mentioned there were a couple of interested parties that were watching things closely including his old mates Exxaro who took out his last venture and 2 other majors. He said he would make sure there was a well resourced data room to enable comprehensive reviews by any interested parties and he valued it at 2-3 times that of African Iron. This could easily be taken out by the end of next yr.
