All the points you raised are what I am thinking.
The zero benchmark for performance fees has no justification. Like you said, it could be just tied to the bank rate plus a percentage rate - like others employ.
It seems to me they are confusing performance fees for management fees. Anyway, I highly doubt they will amend their current fee structure.
I will just have to weigh up whether I continue or sell.
There seems to be too many compelling reasons to sell at this stage.
