There is only one reason KNL is slow - the bridge. No matter what they could achieve in the meantime it all means moot until there is a way to get anything transported from any mine or even create a mine complex. And without a bridge that just isn't going to happen. Said bridge is said to be complete come November, KNL will remain a sleeper until then regardless of any announcements.
