agree on the short term it seems a buy. Longer term it still a bit unclear with dwindling reserves although their last well has started ( hopefully not too late, by that I mean how long will it take to get into production?) to reverse this trend. Clearly they have cash and in my view have spealt out their focus areas , AUS NWS, NZ and looking for growth in Asia.
They have a new director Mike Sandy who I'm assuming is the same Mike Sandy who was at PPP. Now maybe this may be the start of something ( only speculation on my part) but Sandy knows worth of PPP, TAP have cash and need reserves on market. NZ is one of their core areas. To me it seems like the rigt match assuming they can agree the right price?
