My view is that if the run-up in price is due to insiders getting in on a pending deal of some nature, the stock is likely to fall back and not rise when the announcement eventually comes.
However if the rise is based on hot exploration results there could a further increase in TAM's share price when announced.
So which is it? They are both price-volume based. Yet I would rather be trading the latter situation and not be the bunny who takes the fall in the first scenario.
