I have just been informed by my bank that both STX and TPD are analyzing their shareholder structure under CORPORATIONS ACT 2001 - SECT 672A/B. Both companies asked my bank to disclose who I am. they are using different agencies to collect the information but started on the same day.
From my perspective, I can see two reasons for this:
1) they know something is going on (T/O) and they want to find out who it really is,
OR
2) they want to merge and try to identify strong shareholders in both
any thoughts from you guys? AND ...has anyone got the same information?
