It is too many decades since I owned a house in NSW -

I intend looking at brick n tile houses for sale in "the greater Gong" - have been checking online - and would appreciate any advice - essential points to check - things to watch for.

I am across stuff like checking councils for zoning issues, possible non-conforming issues - planning issues -

Does NSW have a requirement that vendors produce a "building report" ? Like the ACT.

I assume asbestos was/is an issue in NSW as it was in Canberra - Mr Fluffy houses.

Obviously if & when it happens I will need a solicitor to handle the conveyancing - I assume they are across all issues in my interests - any comments?

    enough for now.
