I had some AVQ a long while back, sold for a small loss. Have been keeping an eye on it since then (obviously like a lot of people), with the option of getting back in at some stage. However as an interested observer I still cannot make up my mind as to whether it is a half full or half empty cup. One thing that does interest me is the small capital raising recently announced. $1.1 million at 1.8c a share is an awful lot of shares. Add to that the one for two at two cents a share options. Without going through their last quarterly statement, I wonder at the timing. While I do not know what is going through the chairmans mind, and I believe that as a large shareholder he would wish to optimise AVQ value. I do not understand the reasons for a capital gain now if they genuinely felt confident about a positive outcome on the court case. To me it reads a bit like a bet each way. Good luck to all you holders, but for me I think I will remain cautious on this one.
