AMD Directors are bound by numerous ASIC and ASX regulations one of which is continuous disclosure of material events. This isn't their first rodeo, failure to notify the market in a timely manner would result in numerous breaches - the lack of news from the Board of Directors would indicate there is nothing material to report. Reputational damage to the Directors would be irreversible if they were holding out.
