Within reason, mainland USA minus Alaska is about the same size as Australia.
The USA has 15 x the Australian population, and they consume more per capita than Australia.
The USA is criss crossed with highways and there are 1000's of mid sized towns from west coast to east coast and from the Gulf to Canada.
So, might it not just be as simple as the USA offers a bigger, hungrier and more accessible markets?
