I retired my fang dangle stainless steel Breville kettle to the recycling bin. I got sick of the interior. It is not one piece and the crevices annoyed me. I use a lemon boiled in the kettle to clean it, and it does a nice job. Plus, stainless steel finishes are a pain. It's ironic that you are forever removing stains!

Bought a Raco stove top whistling kettle. Looked nice and had a smooth crevice free interior. Then the spout started showing signs of rust. I guess the only stainless grade to buy is marine grade food grade.

I'm afraid China el cheap Abode @ $7.96 from Big W has won the race. It's one piece with a basic element and the last time I checked plastic doesn't stain or rust.
