It's not hard to imagine why the $1 price (or less) is justified. Mgnt just said it's highly unlikely that they meet their former earnings guidance. Other than the brand value, there's very little behind this company (except for the printing business they want to sell). Valuations are always relative, so the P/E of 6 before that supported $2.50+ price is no longer applicable, nor is it anything special in the current climate. Why buy MCP when you can find heaps of similar stocks that have higher NTAs?
